1869 Very Rare Museum Piece - Lincoln Football Club - General Manager's copy of the Club Rules

This fragile document should be in a Lincoln museum and would be an amazing item for anyone with roots or connections to the county to own.  These are the rules and regulations of Lincoln Football Club, and were the personal copy of the General Manager's R H Bicknell.  Needless to say that the laws have changed somewhat today but they make for interesting reading.

The booklet is very fragile and some pages are detached, they could be put together by a reputable paper restorer very easily but we have decided to leave them in this state to allow the new owner to restore them as they feel fit.

The General Manager, My Bicknell, himself seems to have signed the final page.

Without doubt this is the oldest items of football memorabilia that we have ever seen and is such an important and historical artefact.
